  • Dakota Leeds announces the prestigious honour of a Michelin Plate

Dakota Hotels are preparing to reopen on April 12th, following the government roadmap announcement and lifting of certain restrictions currently placed on the hospitality industry.

In line with government guidelines, Dakota Leeds will reopen their outdoor Terrace for al-fresco dining and drinks on April 12th, and indoor dining and overnight visits from May 17th.

Dakota’s recent social media campaign, Better Days at Dakota - a nostalgic look towards a brighter future for hospitality - had an overwhelmingly positive response, and with good reason. Whilst Dakota’s doors have remained closed for several months, guest enquiries continued to roll in, and the hotels saw a surge in bookings after the Prime Minister’s announcement. A social media poll* held after the briefing showed that 43% of guests had already booked to dine or stay upon reopening, with 57% opting for an overnight stay, and 43% choosing to dine once permitted.

Exciting things are happening behind Dakota’s doors in preparation for reopening. Dakota Leeds is thrilled to launch their new Laurent Perrier Rosé Lounge, an al-fresco luxurious escape tucked away on the Salon Privé terrace.

An intimate setting, the Laurent Perrier Rosé Lounge is available for private events for up to 10 guests. Whatever the weather, celebrate in style: the lounge space has fully retractable walls and ceiling to make
the most of sunny days, and is fully heated with cosy, soft furnishings for cooler climes.

Dakota are now accepting bookings for drinks in the Laurent Perrier Rosé Lounge from April 12th, with the option to avail the namesake tipple, Laurent Perrier Rosé, by the glass or by the bottle.

Additionally, Dakota Leeds are delighted to reveal that their Grill has been awarded the prestigious accolade of a Michelin plate, as well as being recommended in the 2021 Michelin Guide. The Grill is the heart and soul of Dakota Leeds; the passionate team of Chefs present the finest quality
seasonal produce, with the perfect balance of flavours - all the ingredients you’d expect at one of the best restaurants in Leeds. Dishes of note include Easingwold Pork Belly and Tenderloin, served with carrots and harissa; North Sea Trout, accompanied by grilled Hispi cabbage and mussel veloute; signature steaks from the chargrill, cooked over hot coals to your liking; and a plethora of indulgent desserts to choose from, innovative cocktails to sample and fascinating wines to explore.

Indulge in a Michelin-recommended, exceptional culinary experience: Dakota Leeds are now taking bookings for dining visits from May 17th.

The team looks forward to welcoming guests back: better days are coming, and we can’t wait to spend them with you!
