West Yorkshire-based marketing and PR agency, Unify, has recently been appointed by Kirkwood to provide marketing support services as the charity navigates the Coronavirus pandemic.

Drawing upon its PR and marketing expertise, Unify is responsible for amplifying Kirkwood’s services during this turbulent time. From PR and social media implementation through to retail marketing, Unify is working across the board to ensure that the critical work Kirkwood delivers is communicated widely to the local community and key supporters.

Dedicated to improving the wellbeing of those with life-limiting illnesses, Kirkwood has been providing essential care to the residents of Kirklees for over 30 years. Whether through the In-patient Unit, the Support & Therapy Teams, or in people’s own homes, Kirkwood supports patients and their families, every step of the way.

Following on from the charity’s Coronavirus appeal, Unify’s main objective is to make more people aware of the charity and its response to the pandemic. In particular, how care is still being delivered to patients and their families, and how the charity has increased its services and workforce to ensure those who rely on their support can continue to do so.

Emma Leonard, director of Unify says: “With some of our team experiencing first-hand the support Kirkwood provides to its community, we immediately knew our relationship with the charity would be a special one. The team at Kirkwood is simply inspirational and how they’ve adapted to the crisis so quickly and efficiently truly is amazing. We look forward to supporting the team and demonstrating how the charity continues to make such a huge difference to people’s lives.”
