Sheffield workspace to tackle burnout increase
Flexible workspace provider, Wizu Workspace, has launched a free massage room and recurring wellness day for it’s Sheffield members in response to the rising cases of workplace burnout, with Google searches for ‘burnout symptoms’ increasing by 100% in the last 90 days.
Wizu, which offers shared workspace facilities like coworking, dedicated desks and private offices, has launched the new wellness initiative with the aim of enhancing wellbeing and reducing burnout. Members will get access to a complimentary massage, alongside a host of other wellness options including a healthy breakfast and free fitness classes at the workspace’s own onsite gym; Hii Fitness.
Tom Almas, CEO, explained of the new initiative: “We’re always looking for ways to boost our experience for members and wellness has been a key part of this. We recognise that burnout has seen an increase in recent months and hope that our new initiatives will enhance employee wellbeing by normalising self care options like healthy eating, exercise and massages.”
The first wellness day will kick off this Monday September 27th, with Wizu members on a minimum 6 month contract offered complimentary use of the massage room with a fully trained massage therapist, on a first come first serve basis.
