Shoppers in for a treat with new campaign from Bradford City Centre businesses
A new campaign from Bradford BID and Bradford at Night is hoping to entice shoppers into the city centre to enjoy ‘Tenner Treats’ at a range of independent and high street businesses.
Over 15 venues are offering an exclusive £10 treat across the first two weeks of August, starting on Tuesday 1st August. From lunch time offers, to evening drinks, coffees, cakes and books, there’s a range of deals to enjoy including from the likes of Pizza Pieces, Rumshackalack, The Midland Hotel, The Victoria Hotel, Lefteris Café, Tiffin Coffee, Ginger Goose and many more.
Nikki Chadburn, Bradford BID business engagement officer says: “This is a great opportunity for people to experience a range of our independent businesses with these special offers. It’s also a chance for the businesses to say thank you to their customers for supporting them during a really difficult time. We know the cost-of-living crisis has impacted people's spending, so these offers will be welcomed by many.”
The campaign is inspired by the Totally Locally campaign, ‘Fiver Fest’ that was created to highlight the difference to local economies if more people spent regularly at independent businesses.
Liz Murphy, Bradford at night manager adds: “Independent businesses are the lifeblood of towns and cities across the country. The evening and night time economy is especially built on the passion and commitment of independents. The Tenner Treat campaign is an opportunity to come and support the local businesses in the city centre and enjoy a great offer.”
Participating venues will be displaying the Tenner Treat poster in their windows and a list of offers can be found at www.bradfordbid.co.uk/tennertreats
