It’s been a tough year for all of us, especially those running their own businesses. But despite the hardships we’ve endured, there have been some spectacular examples of good old Yorkshire-style resilience in the region.
Companies have innovated, pivoted and taken on every challenge thrown their way and have the battle scars to prove it. Aside from the webinar series, Wakefield Bounce Back Week has chosen to celebrate the bravery, hard work and ingenuity seen throughout our region by hosting the WBBW Awards!
These awards bring recognition to the people that deserve it. The categories include; Community Spirit in Business, The Entrepreneurial Excellence Award and the Wakefield Pivot with Purpose Award. People can apply on behalf of their business or nominate a business they would like to put forward. Each of these awards are free to enter and nominations entries close on the 18th of June.
