An all-female business consultancy has become the latest firm to support to Yorkshire families by becoming a patron of children’s charity, The Principle Trust.
Craven Consultancy has pledged its support to the Skipton based charity, which provides respite breaks to children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, have life-limiting conditions, or who have experienced poverty, trauma or abuse.
Led by managing director Liz Brewster, the Embsay-based consultancy provides health and safety, HR and training services and software to a national client base of small and medium-sized enterprises. The company recently hosted Skipton Expo, an annual exhibition and networking conference for local businesses.
Announcing the partnership, Liz commented, ‘We are delighted to partner The Principle Trust and support their work helping disadvantaged families to escape their everyday troubles and create precious, happy memories.’
Mike Davies added, Thanks to the generosity of businesses like Craven Consultancy, The Principle Trust can continue to support some of the Yorkshire region’s most disadvantaged families.’
Since its launch in 2011 the Trust has raised over £1.7m and provided respite breaks for more than 5000 children from the Yorkshire region. This year the charity will provide much-needed respite breaks for around 200 families.
