Ashberry Homes delivered the perfect summer’s day for new home buyers in Brough in July when it launched its latest East Riding development – Trident Way.
The national homebuilder was so determined that summer would arrive in time for the launch of its new, 166 home development that it arranged a summer themed event complete with an ice cream van giving out free ice creams; while potential buyers were able to sit back, relax and enjoy their cooling treat in a giant deckchair!
Melanie Smith, Yorkshire sales director, said: “Summer’s certainly taking its time arriving this year and so we thought – whatever the weather – that getting an ice cream van to dish out free 99s and a giant deckchair in for the Trident Way sales launch would put a smile on everyone’s face!”
Part of the £200million Brough South project, Trident Way is being built on land that was previously part of BAE Systems’ oldest remaining aircraft factory. And amongst the aircraft built at the site were Trident domestic aircraft, which gave the development its name.
“We always look for local points of interest when naming a development and in the case of Brough, the BAE link provided the perfect link,” continued Melanie. “And for those with an interest in aviation, it’s worth highlighting that there will be a lot more links to the site’s history as Trident Way takes shape.”
Being built close to the Humber Estuary, Trident Way is aimed at appealing to a wide cross section of buyers – from first timers to downsizers; growing families to empty nest couples. It features a mix of two-, three-, four- and five- bedroom detached and semi-detached homes; all of which are built to first-rate specifications and come with either designated parking, driveways or garages.
