Leeds businesswoman Sarah Elston, owner of Slink Staffing Solutions, has continued to evolve her business throughout the year to adapt to the impact Covid-19 has had on her promotions and events, dance coaches and recruitment company.
Renowned for her innovation and passion for entertainment, during the first national lockdown Sarah created a sister company to Slink Staffing Solutions, Party Crashers UK. Party Crashers UK are a party entertainment company who provide popular characters for any special occasion.
After the UK went in to lockdown 2.0, December was looking incredibly mellow for families unsure of how to bring the Christmas magic for their families in 2020. Life’s simple pleasures had once again gone and Sarah, who is also a mother to two young boys, knew just the thing to fill the void to those much loved traditional days out this festive season.
With a little help from the renowned naughty elf, Party Crashers have been hitting the streets of Leeds and Wakefield to drop off presents, sing a Christmas jingle and safely provide the magic of Christmas for so many families, and from the comfort of their own home.
Sarah Elston said: "Being a mum to two boys under 9 myself means I know too well how much the children are missing out on as we sit here in Leeds in tier 3. The arrival of the elves on December 1st really did bring some magic in to our house and so to take the larger than life elf to the doorsteps around the community has been a joy! Albeit only 10-15 minutes long, we give the children a letter from the elves, chat to them about how they are getting ready for Christmas and even sing some Christmas songs too. It was lovely to see the faces full of surprise and the excitement they felt at their little visitor."
Since visiting the doorsteps, socially distanced and applying to gov guidelines, of the Leeds and Wakefield postcode, Sarah’s vision became a reality and the families they’ve met throughout December have been inspired and overjoyed by their visit;
