Adam Johnson, director said: ““The Firecracker Ball has an incredible reputation and is the standout event in the region’s calendar of social events. We are thrilled to be a lead sponsor and part of raising awareness for Barnardo’s in Yorkshire.
As a family business based in Yorkshire, helping to support young people and families in the area really appealed to us. We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful evening of fundraising on behalf of Barnardo’s.”
The Firecracker Ball returned last year with a bang after COVID and raised £210,000 for Barnardo’s.
This year guests will be transported to the fictional Greek island of Kalokairi, where Mamma Mia the movie is set. Rock sensation, Rick Parfitt Jnr, son of the late Rick Parfitt of Status Quo, will keep the party going with what promises to be a wonderful night of entertainment, fundraising, auction prizes and celebrating the many young people the Firecracker Ball has supported and continues to support in Yorkshire through Barnardo’s.
Chair of the Firecracker committee, Mark J Nelson, added: “The Firecracker ball is a night to remember as we celebrate all those associated with Barnardo’s in Yorkshire and help spread the word to those who can support, and those who need to be supported.
Hosting an event of this size is a mammoth task and we are so grateful to have Tudor International Freight on board which will help us to present another show stopping event, whilst raising much needed funds for Barnardo’s in Yorkshire.”
Kirsty Guy, senior relationship manager for Barnardo’s, said: “The funds raised from The Firecracker Ball play a huge part in enabling Barnardo’s in Yorkshire to offer services to help children flourish, keep families strong, and allow communities to protect and nurture their young people. We are so grateful to Tudor International Freight for their support which will significantly help towards continuing this vital work.”
Also supporting the Firecracker Ball are Angels Events, Source, Commercial Services Design Limited, TheBusinessDesk.com, Langton Howarth LTD, Rudding Park Hotel and Team Print Services.
Now in its 22nd year supporting Barnardo’s, The Firecracker Ball helps to change the lives of thousands of children and young people across the region. Since Barnardo’s became its chosen charity in 2002 the ball has raised over £3m for Barnardo’s causes.
