Junction 32 customers can now help children in need whilst they do their own festive shopping.

The Yorkshire shopping outlet has partnered with Cash for Kids, to help make Christmas special for children in poverty as part of its Mission Christmas initiative.

Cash for Kids improves the lives of disadvantaged children and young people who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs throughout the UK.

From 15th November to 19th December, shoppers will be able to donate a gift at a dedicated drop-off box at Junction 32, outside M&S Outlet. The donated items will be hand wrapped and delivered to children in time for Christmas, ensuring disadvantaged children can enjoy the magic of Christmas and have a present to open on the big day.

The gifts can be of any value and for any age group, from babies to 18-year-olds.

Darren Winter, centre director at Junction 32, said: “After what has been a challenging year, even more children are facing a Christmas with nothing under the tree. That’s why we’re working with Cash for Kids to help children in poverty this festive season.

“We wanted to make it easier for our shoppers, who can spare an extra gift, to enjoy the warm, charitable feeling this festive season by kindly donating a present and helping to make someone’s Christmas. If you’re able to help us by buying an extra gift for a child this year whilst you’re doing your own festive shopping from one of our many stores, it would mean so much to them to be able to open a present on Christmas Day. Simply deliver this to our drop-off box and we’ll make sure it’s wrapped and delivered in time to make a child’s Christmas that extra bit special.”
