Harlow Consulting, a leading research agency based in Harrogate, has promoted two key team members as part of its continued investment in its talent base.
Ellie Moore (pictured below) has moved to the role of research manager after three years at the agency, and Kirsty Ainslie (pictured above) has been promoted to research support & operations manager after joining 18 months ago as research and operations administrator.
Harlow Consulting was founded in 2019 by co-directors Jennifer Brennan and Clare Vokes. Since, the female leaders have made waves in the world of research, growing the agency from scratch to delivering projects for many prestigious clients across multiple industries.
Ellie Moore began her career working in the music and performing arts sector after graduating from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Whilst working for a London based music charity, she found a passion for research and evaluation, seeing how it could be used to improve services and programmes. This led her to complete a Masters in Social Research Methods at Goldsmith’s University whilst working to improve her skills.
Ellie said: “I joined Harlow Consulting at the end of 2022 with an ambition to do broader research work, and since then I’ve completed over 40 research and evaluation projects. One of the joys of my job is collaborating with passionate people in different sectors, from healthcare to heritage, to demonstrate the impact of their work. Research does change lives. It can push forward innovations as well as identify the best course of action to make positive change.”
The consultancy works across a range of sectors, specialising in construction, heritage, arts, and healthcare. Clients include Historic Houses, DCMS, Historic England, the NHS, and the British Film Institute (BFI).

Kirsty’s background in administrative support and compliance comes from more than 15 years’ experience in a variety of sectors including Banking, Financial Services, Insurance and Retail.
