Independent fashion retailer, The Style Attic, have launched tickets for their second, ‘Summer Soiree’ event to raise money for Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
The popular Leeds based brand, will be hosting their second annual fundraiser on Saturday the 8th of July at Canary Bar on Leeds Docks.
Last year's event saw over 100 women come together to not only raise money for the trust, but to celebrate The Style Attic’s inclusive approach to fashion.
This year, the event will focus on the brands' ‘Summer Of Fashion Freedom’ campaign which is encouraging women to wear whatever they want, whenever they want, regardless of so-called fashion ‘rules’.
The event, which starts at 2PM will be raising money for a cause close to founder, Leigh Unwin’s, heart.
In 2014, Leigh Unwin, welcomed her baby girl Edie to the world at just 25 weeks. After a long stint in Leeds Children’s Hospital, Edie was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
With a demanding calendar of doctors appointments and operations for Edie in front of her, Leigh decided to quit her full time job in the fashion industry and start her own business to work around Edie’s needs - with that, The Style Attic was born.
Leigh said, “We are thankful every single day to the incredible work of everyone at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. Without them, I don’t know what we would have done. Their support got us through an incredibly tough time, and with our Summer Soiree event, we want to show them just how grateful we are!”
Tickets for the event, which can be purchased online now, include a glass of prosecco, delicious canapes, and a voucher to spend on the day.
A proportion of all ticket sales, and all the money raised on the day, will go directly to Leeds teaching Hospitals Trust.
