Baildon-based office services and supplies company ACS Group has announced it is sponsoring the Bradford Bulls women’s rugby league team for the 2023 season.

In addition, the company has become the first ever sponsor of ‘Bull Girl’, the Bradford Bulls’ latest mascot.

ACS Group is also providing the former World Club Champions with IT support via its specialist division, ACS IT, which provides technology consultancy and services.

Head of sales, Martine Box, said: “Supporting local businesses has always been important to us, so when the opportunity arose for us to sponsor the Bradford Bulls women’s team and new mascot we had no hesitation doing so.

“The club does a tremendous amount of beneficial work within the community which complements our internal mantra of ‘making a positive impact from the inside out’.

“It’s also great to see how the club is enabling more women and girls in the Bradford district to play rugby league, encouraging them to be active and to meet and make new friends.”

Bradford Bulls women play in Super League (Group Two) and are previous winners of the Super League and Women’s Challenge Cup.

Ian Stafford, Bradford Bulls commercial manager, commented: “We are very pleased to partner with ACS Group. It’s a great Bradford business that puts a lot back into the city and its communities.

“Their support will play an important role in the ongoing development of our women’s team and we look forward to further developing our relationship with the business as the season progresses.

“In addition, our collaboration with ACS IT will further enhance our club's IT infrastructure. With the ever-increasing importance of technology to sports organisations, this upgrade will play a crucial role in enabling us to remain competitive and better connected to our Bradford Bulls fan base.”
