Leeds-based law firm Ward Hadaway has announced the appointment of Suzanne Jaconelli to its private client team. Suzanne joins as a specialist solicitor, providing legal support and guidance in complex and high-value estate and succession planning matters. Her areas of expertise include wills, trusts, inheritance tax, powers of attorney, and cross-border considerations.

Qualifying in 2002 with six years private client experience, Suzanne brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the team. As well as her legal experience, Suzanne has spent nearly a decade running her own successful business and understands the challenges private wealth clients face in managing their enterprises. Suzanne's unique background and commercial acumen will significantly contribute to the team's strategic growth and development.

Andrew Facer, partner and head of the private client team, said: “Suzanne's appointment marks an exciting addition to our growing private client team. Her extensive experience and expertise in private wealth matters will greatly benefit our clients and strengthen our service offering. Suzanne's experience both legally and commercially fits perfectly with our growth strategy, and we are thrilled to have her on board.”

Ward Hadaway's private client team has experienced continued growth in recent years, and Suzanne's appointment further reinforces the firm's commitment to providing exceptional legal services in estate and succession planning. It follows the appointment of one of the region's top private wealth lawyers, Vivienne Wild, who joined last summer as a partner in the team. The department has a strong and trusted reputation across the North for managing the complexities involved in private wealth legal matters.

Suzanne Jaconelli said: “I wanted to join Ward Hadaway because the firm truly stands out head and shoulders above the rest in terms of its expertise and culture. The organisation’s commitment to providing ample opportunities for training and growth, along with its focus on creating a supportive and healthy work environment, made me feel confident that the firm genuinely cares about my personal and professional development. There is a different energy about Ward Hadaway, and it is evident that everyone genuinely enjoys their job. I am excited to be part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.”
