Nifty Fox Creative appoints growth manager
Nifty Fox Creative, an award-winning research and data visualisation communications agency, has appointed Kate Wightman as Growth Manager as the business targets £1.65 million turnover in 2026, a 32% increase on 2025’s £1.25 million revenue.
With more than 14 years’ experience across client growth and partnership roles, Kate will lead the company’s sales, marketing and business development activity to drive sustainable growth while staying true to its core values.
Kate will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with universities, public sector bodies, healthcare organisations and social impact teams in the UK and internationally, acting as a key bridge between Nifty Fox’s creative team and clients. This will include leading client conversations, shaping proposals and developing long-term partnerships that deliver value for clients and their communities.
The appointment follows Nifty Fox’s strongest year to date, with the agency achieving 30% year-on-year growth in 2025. In addition to strong growth in the company’s core creative services including infographics, visual summaries, live scribing, toolkits and animation, e-learning revenue also increased by 330% in 12 months. The company now partners with over 70 universities and more than 100 public sector organisations.
Kate will work closely with founder and director Laura Evans-Hill to identify new markets and opportunities that ensure Nifty Fox continues to grow its reach, impact and reputation as a go-to creative partner for visual storytelling. She will also oversee Nifty Fox’s integrated sales and marketing strategy, strengthening its profile through targeted campaigns and events.
Laura said: “Following our 30% growth in 2025 and the transformational shift towards higher-value, learning-led work, Kate’s appointment is crucial to achieving our ambitious £1.65 million target for 2026. Her extensive experience in building meaningful client relationships and driving strategic growth will be invaluable in helping us achieve our targets.
“We're not just looking to grow for growth’s sake. We want to expand our impact and reach more organisations that need help turning evidence into action. Kate understands that our work creates deeper impact through e-learning and expert-led teaching, and she'll be instrumental in connecting us with clients who share our commitment to driving real-world change through research and visual storytelling.”
Established in 2017 by trained social researcher Laura Evans-Hill, Nifty Fox specialises in visual storytelling to drive real-world impact from research and evidence. The agency has worked with 3,000+ researchers internationally and public sector organisations including NATO, the UN, international parliaments, the Ministry of Justice, the UK Government and the NHS.
Kate Wightman said: “Nifty Fox’s rapid growth demonstrates the need from researchers and academics for visual storytelling to engage audiences and make their work more accessible. I’m looking forward to working with the team to expand our creative offering to help more researchers translate their complex insights into real-world impact.”
Nifty Fox’s work has influenced parliament, redesigned healthcare services and engaged policymakers to understand evidence and act on recommendations. The agency’s animations have generated nearly a million impressions and been watched almost 50,000 times.
