Pirates, Princesses and Peter Pan
Families are invited to embark on a swashbuckling day of adventure in Bradford city centre this Easter holiday, as Bradford BID hosts a free family event ‘Pirates, Princesses and Peter Pan’ on Wednesday 8 April from 11am to 3pm.
Young explorers and their families can enjoy a magical day filled with live performances, storytelling, meet-and-greet opportunities and interactive games taking place across the city centre.
Children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite pirate, princess or Neverland hero and join the adventure as the streets of Bradford come alive with colourful characters and entertainment.
At the heart of the event is an exciting treasure hunt through local businesses. Families can pick up an adventure map from the events gazebo on Broadway and follow the trail around participating city centre locations. Completed maps should be returned to the gazebo to receive a reward and be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 Bradford Gift Card.
Visitors to the city centre will also see 10 shop windows decorated with professionally painted Easter-themed designs, helping to add even more colour and creativity to the city centre during the school holidays.
Leanne Holmes, Projects and Finance Manager at Bradford BID, said:
