Tracey Threlfall, UK head of advisory at leading global professional services firm Aon plc (NYSE: AON), has been recognised in the Northern Power Women Awards 2023.

The awards, now in their seventh year, celebrate both individuals and businesses who are pushing boundaries and spearheading gender equality and social mobility across the north of England.

Tracey, who has 32 years’ experience in the insurance industry and works across Aon’s northern offices including Leeds, has been recognised in this year’s Power List. The Power List celebrates those who challenge the status quo and use their influence to make a positive change for all.

For the past 27 years of her career, Tracey has built and led successful teams and now leads a team of 250 across nine offices at Aon, which provides clients from SMEs to large corporates with Commercial Risk Solutions, Health Solutions, Reinsurance Solutions and Wealth Solutions.

Tracey’s inclusion in the Power List highlights Aon’s commitment to creating a diverse workforce at all levels of the organisation, and creating a culture where colleagues feel more relevant, connected and valued as they seek to shape decisions for the better and achieve their full professional potential.

Tracey Threlfall said: “It's a real privilege to have been nominated for and included on the Power List. After almost 33 years in the insurance industry and the majority of that spent leading teams, it is great to have a new platform to help highlight and drive diversity in our business by sharing experiences and hopefully inspiring a new generation of female leaders.”
There were 1500 nominations in total for the awards which have been whittled down to 89 following a rigorous judging process.

The Northern Power Awards take place on Monday, 20 March at Manchester Central.
