As we enter a new year I'm always full of optimism and this year is no different!

Yes, I can hear you shout 'but what about another lockdown' but we have to remain positive. Nobody could have predicted last March that we would still be in this same position, almost back to square one a year on, but we are, and we have to deal with it.

For me, my hopes are relying on the vaccine. I think without that, things would have been more gloomy, but we have this thanks to our wonderful scientists, but we have to hope that our Government roll this out as quickly as possible.

Now more than ever we have to pull together. I do believe that if we all help one another we can get through this financially, mentally and become stronger together.

I want to start by thanking everyone who supported the first edition of Yorkshire Businesswoman magazine, the response was incredible. We are now starting work on edition two, which will publish at the end of this month, so please do let us know of women who inspire you, tell us about your journey to success and share with us your tips for other businesswomen.

Yorkshire Businesswoman is a platform for Yorkshire businesswomen to come together and share ideas, help one another, network and hopefully make lifelong friends. If you have a story to tell, do get in touch hello@yorkshirebusinesswoman.co.uk

For those of you who read my last blog, I was doing a comparison between CeraVe and Bio Oil gel for my very dry skin, which is worse having to be home with central heating much of the time. Well almost two months on and neither have really tackled it. I have to admit my skin is not worse, but it's not really much improved, so I would be grateful if anyone can make a recommendation for a very good hand and body cream that is none greasy that works!
