Leeds-based business consultant and mindset specialist, Zoe Thompson, is celebrating the launch of her book ‘The Build It Brilliant Blueprint: 4 steps to taking your business online, a book for helping professionals’.

Bringing together Zoe’s extensive knowledge of e-learning and her 10 years of experience as a private therapist, the book supports people in the helping professions to grow in confidence and embrace the opportunities of online technology so that they can build a sustainable business.

Zoe says, “The pandemic has seen many ‘hands on’ 1-2-1 therapy and health services closing their doors, right at a time when the mental health of the country needs their support the most.

“I want to show helping professionals that there is a way to move their businesses online in a way that suits them. They can harness their expertise in an authentic way to provide information, opportunities and support to their clients, whilst still protecting the client relationship.”

Having created hundreds of on- and offline training programmes and courses whilst a Learning and Development consultant for O2, Zoe wanted to bring her knowledge to support the therapy and helping professions in moving their services online.

Zoe added: “Creating online courses, products and programmes has never been easier but many solutions aren’t a good fit for service/helping businesses - the advice is either too salesy or too big for a solopreneur’s needs. I wanted to write a book based on my experience that will help therapists to move their businesses online in a way that will suit them as individuals.”

The book takes readers through Zoe’s 4 step Blueprint, sharing a strategy for helping professionals such as counsellors, osteopaths and hypnotherapists to save time and money by working smarter not harder. Throughout the book Zoe shares exercises, personal experiences and simple ideas to give the Blueprint context within the sector.

The Build It Brilliant Blueprint has already been implemented by physiotherapists, psychologists and yoga teachers and has been receiving positive praise.

Sarah Meharg, Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist and Director of MoodLifter said: “This book is so easy to read that I sat down and absorbed so much information in one sitting and now it's my go to reference to dip in whenever I am planning a new intervention or project. Zoe understands the needs of health professionals and approaches the topic in a personable, informative and straightforward way.”
