Leeds laser expert Saffron Biggs began her career in business and marketing with a goal of working within the retail space, but it was whilst studying at university in her early twenties that she booked her first laser hair removal treatment, being dark haired herself, and quickly shifted her corporate career goals to the complex world of laser, she recalled:

“I thought there must be a better option than the constant shaving on holiday and it turns out I was right! The results were incredible and I could not believe laser hair removal wasn’t more commonplace – especially in Leeds. Laser hair removal genuinely changed my life and I knew it could change so many other women and men’s lives too.”

Fast forward three-years, and several training certifications later, Saffron launched 808 Laser Clinic based in Leeds and became one of the most sought-after practitioners in the country. She said: “I made it my mission to learn as much as possible about the science of laser and how it really works in order to get the best results for my clients. I have now been lasering the people of Leeds for almost 4 years, but the past 12 months has brought the most change and growth. I moved into our period property clinic in Yeadon, added new laser treatments to our repertoire and grew into a team of five. I’m so proud to have a permanent home for 808 and to look back on the last year and all we have achieved.”

It is because of the 808 Laser Clinic’s heritage and industry demand that Saffron is planning on launching a brand new training academy, also in Leeds, teaching all things laser to students from around the world. Knowing too well how many providers rush through the teachings and aftercare protocol with students, it is her goal to nurture students to the highest-standard and ensure they feel fully equipped with not just a new skillset, but an aftercare plan that will execute consumer safety and satisfaction.

Saffron said; “Once a student trains with us, we will then go on to offer a lifetime guarantee of ongoing support for any questions that crop up as they get started in the industry, and I really look forward to help kick-start many a student’s career.”

The first course date starts launch in late Autumn.
