Manor House Lindley has appointed Joanna Cooper in the role of Wedding Co-Ordinator. The role will see Joanna work alongside the already established events team at the venue to work closely with wedding couples to ensure that their wedding day is perfect.
The position has been created due to the increase in popularity of Manor House Lindley as a wedding venue, with a very busy diary already for 2020. Since opening its doors in April 2018, the fantastically restored Georgian Manor has held over 45 weddings and received first-class feedback from couples who have chosen to say “I do” at the boutique hotel.
Joanna has been a familiar face at Manor House since its launch 18 months ago, working full time within the Food & Beverage department. The promotion to Wedding Co-Ordinator is in line with Manor House’s internal progression policy, which favours staff trained to progress within the business wherever possible rather than external hires.
Joanna Cooper commented, “I’m delighted to take on the role of Wedding Co-Ordinator. I can’t wait to help make our couples’ wedding day everything they ever wanted it to be and ensure everything runs smoothly with that special Manor House touch.”
Mark Ayre, General Manager at Manor House Lindley, commented, “It is great to see Joanna step up to the role of Wedding Co-Ordinator at a time when we are experiencing rapid growth in wedding bookings. We’re excited to have her within the events team.”
