80's Weekender comes to Blackpool

The 80’s Weekender is taking place this Summer in BlackpoolWinter Gardens on Friday 25th & Saturday 26th September with a star-studded line-up for the Ultimate 80s celebration in the North West.
The line-up features an iconic collection of 80’s British artists and bands, shaping the soundtrack of that decade. Acts performing across the weekend include ABC, Kim Wilde, Go West, The Christians, Katrina, Johnny Hates Jazz and Hue & Cry.
Joining the bill is pop favourite Nik Kershaw, whose global hit singles include ‘Wouldn’t it Be Good’, ‘The Riddle’ and his biggest hit, ‘I Won’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me’. Fans will also be treated to a very special Toyah: In Conversation event, offering a rare opportunity to go behind the music with one of the decade’s most distinctive performers.
Across two unforgettable days, the iconic Blackpool Winter Gardens will transform into a full 80s playground - from the grandeur of the Empress Ballroom to immersive experiences, themed events and surprise moments throughout the venue.
And when the main stage lights go down, the party continues…
The Weekender will host unmissable after show parties featuring TV and radio presenter Jenny Powell, alongside high-energy 80s aerobic dance troupe 80s Lycra, guaranteeing wall-to-wall retro anthems, neon vibes and late-night dancefloor moments at the Winter Gardens.
Friday acts include - Kim Wilde, Nik Kershaw, Katrina and 80’s Lycra.
Saturday acts include - ABC, Go West, Johnny Hates Jazz, The Christians, Toyah, Hue & Cry, Toyah in Conversation and Jenny Powell DJ Set.
