EY strengthens Yorkshire business with new partner appointment

EY has appointed a new partner in Yorkshire, as the firm continues to invest in its regional business and top talent to meet client demand.

Cara Clancy has joined the partnership in EY’s audit team after more than 16 years with the firm. Cara joined EY’s Leeds office as a graduate in 2009 and has since worked with a variety of audit entities across a range of sectors. Cara has extensive experience of working with companies in the construction and real estate sectors, and she works with a number of large listed and private businesses in the region.

Cara moved to Yorkshire for university, where she studied psychology at the University of York. She has continued to live and work in the region ever since, as well as supporting colleagues and businesses across the North of England and in London. Cara has also undertaken secondments both with clients and internally, enabling her to build broader business perspectives and a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing clients.

Cara said: “I’m very proud to have reached this exciting career milestone, and I am looking forward to supporting the continued growth of our business in Yorkshire. Since joining EY’s Leeds office back in 2009, I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible colleagues and mentors as well as a range of fantastic businesses. I would like to thank everyone who has supported my career journey so far, and I’m excited to see what we can continue to achieve together in the future.”
