Leeds agency, Brilliant, has been picked by Danish Crown and Hormel Foods to launch and manage the UK Instagram and Facebook pages for US-favourite peanut butter brand, SKIPPY® Peanut Butter. The appointment comes as SKIPPY® Peanut Butter, implements plans for further growth in the UK market utilising multiple media channels to support.

A leading brand in the US, SKIPPY® Peanut Butter, has production sites around the world but saw potential for further growth in the UK and began the search for an agency that could support in growing its consumer-facing brand across social.

Having almost ten years of experience in growing food brands’ reach and exposure across social, Brilliant responded with a plan that would build on SKIPPY® Peanut Butter’s American roots whilst creating content that’s relevant for British audiences. The work will see the agency utilise its team of social media experts, graphic designers and copywriters to create engaging content that will drives brand awareness to consumers.

Speaking on the win, Laurra Davis, founder and creative director said:
“SKIPPY® Peanut Butter, is a brand that my family and I have enjoyed over the years so it’s great to be welcoming it to the Brilliant roster. The brand is at such an exciting time in its growth and being a part of that by managing its social presence is great for team Brilliant.”

Frances Sheehan from Danish Crown said: “We were drawn to Brilliant for its vast experience with social media management for many well-known food and drink brands where they excelled in using creative and fun ways to drive brand awareness and grow engaged online communities in the UK. We are really excited to work with the team and look forward to seeing our online community grow as our brand continues to grow here in the UK.”

The social content will work in tandem with SKIPPY®’s other marketing activity including TV and media advertising campaign ‘Smoothly Satisfying”. All of which will be tailored towards making the brand a household name for Brits.
