Leeds’s venue East 59th is putting a whole new meaning on get messy, teaming up with Paint Away Events to put the art in party.

Sip and Paint at East 59th, Leeds’s coolest rooftop restaurant, bar and terrace from 2pm – 4pm on Sunday 11th September, when the venue plays host to a paint party like no other. Overlooking the Leeds Kirkgate Market, complimented by views of the city’s stunning skyline, Golden Tears at East 59th promises to be a colourful event in once of Leeds’s most sought after social settings.

Unleash your inner artist and let creativity flow at the ultimate painting class, with no experience necessary you just need to be up for trying something new and releasing your inner Van Gough. You’ll learn to paint alongside a professional/amateur artist and finish with an artwork that you’ll be proud to take home.

With a variety of ticket options available to include cocktails and appetisers, the East 59th bar will be in full operation should you get thirsty for more. Tickets start at £29.99 per person for the painting class and for just £12 extra you can treat yourself to two cocktails from a specially selected menu of six.

There’s no need to bring anything along, other than yourself and a creative eye. All the equipment you need will be provided, this includes a pre-drawn 16x12 canvas for you to create your masterpiece, brushes, paint, palette and of course, gold leaf paper for golden tears.
