Marketing agency Youbee Media, which was founded during the peak of the pandemic in 2020, to help businesses not just ride out the challenging landscape ahead, but to thrive even during the trickiest of times, celebrates its fifth year in business this month.

This milestone comes at an exciting time for the firm, which has just achieved its best year of growth yet, with turnover up 62% compared to last year. This substantial growth has primarily been driven by an increase in retainer clients and the team securing a strong presence as experts supporting doing good and third sector organisations.

Since 2020, the agency has expanded its offering to include marketing training workshops, which have become an integral component of its success. Youbee Media has experienced exponential demand in this area, with a growth increase of 215% over the past couple of years. This inspired the team to launch The Hive Academy this summer – an online learning platform dedicated to making professional social media marketing training, community, and mentorship opportunities accessible to all.

Founder and director, Rebecca Hopwood, shared: “In 2020, my dream was simple - but amidst the pandemic, it felt huge. I wanted to build an agency that creates meaningful solutions, is agile, and focuses on genuine relationships with the businesses around us. Five years on, I’m so proud that we’re still living that mission by listening, adapting, and bringing joy through the work we deliver.

“What makes that possible is our culture. It’s built on the energy and dedication of our team, the trust of our clients, and the support of our wider network. Together, we’ve been able to partner with incredible brands and people, often becoming a true extension of their teams.

“That spirit of collaboration is what makes the work so rewarding, and why it’s genuinely such a joy to come to work every day.”

So far this year, Youbee Media has welcomed an array of new clients, including LGBTQ+ charity Out Together, Adaptis Care Solutions, Synergy Education Services, and Blossom Training & Development CIC. They also won a retainer with Rishworth School, following successful projects in 2024.

Longstanding client Chan Khangura, managing director of Whitegates Estate Agents, commented: "It's been a pleasure seeing Youbee Media grow over the last 5 years. I've always been able to maintain a personal relationship with the team, which has made it easy to work with them. They know how we work, and that makes every interaction with them feel effortless and positive."

Samantha Hague, MD of Window Control Systems UK, also added: “Congratulations to Youbee Media on reaching this incredible milestone! We've worked with Youbee Media since the very beginning, and we love working with Rebecca and the team. Whether they're supporting us with PR, website launches, design work, photoshoots, or campaigns, we're always pleased with the results. I'm sure this is just the beginning for team Youbee.”
