Diane Watson, a distinguished financial advisor and the visionary founder of She Can Prosper, has been named a Finalist in the prestigious Lifetime Achievement category in the 21st annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. Her exceptional career and groundbreaking initiatives have positioned her as a strong contender for the Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award in the program.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honour female executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run worldwide. They have been hailed as the world's premier business awards. Nominated female executives and entrepreneurs from around the world are expected to attend. The event will be broadcast on Livestream.

Out of more than 1,500 entries from organisations and individuals in 36 nations and territories, Diane's exceptional contributions have earned her a place among the elite. She is one of only 8 women from the UK to be selected for this prestigious recognition.

Diane has been recognised for her work in financial services for over 30 years. Serving thousands of clients with their financial well-being, Diane has become a trusted voice in wealth management and financial planning.

Driven by her commitment to bridging the gender gap in financial literacy and empowerment, Diane founded 'She Can Prosper.' This groundbreaking initiative aims to provide women of all backgrounds with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to take control of their financial destinies. In 2023, she wrote a bestselling book called 'She Can Prosper.'

Debbie Gilbert, founder of The Best Businesswomen Awards, said, "Diane's impact extends beyond her professional achievements. Her advocacy for gender equality in finance has earned her recognition as a thought leader and a role model."

Client and Business Associate Emma Harvey of Candid HR shared, "Diane's knowledge and experience in the financial planning sector is second to none. She is a joy to work with because she takes time to listen to, understand, and provide tailored solutions to her clients' specific requirements. I am delighted to see her recognised."

The finalists were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals worldwide who worked on six juries. Their scores will also determine the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award placements, which will be revealed at the awards dinner in New York on 8th November 2024.

"In its 21st year, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business received an impressive collection of remarkable nominations," said Maggie Miller, president of the Stevie Awards. "We look forward to recognising the outstanding achievements of women at the final."

Diane said “Being selected for this awards is an absolute honour and I am very excited to not only fly the flag for Yorkshire but for the United Kingdom. This will help me to continue to raise awareness that women must take responsibly for managing their money or risk being disadvantaged later in life”
