What better book to be talking about at this time of year than the latest Chocolat novel from Joanne Harris.

The Strawberry Thief is a wonderfully evocative novel that takes us back to the French village of Lansquenet-sous-Tannes where Vianne Rocher runs her chocolate shop on the square. Once rejected by the community, it is now her home and the vivid cast of villagers have become her friends. But nothing stays the same for long in this sleepy village. When old Narcisse, the florist dies, secrets are exposed and tensions bubble.
