After officially being open for less than two months, Leeds’ popular bar and restaurant, Azotea, has announced a wave of new job opportunities in response to overwhelming demand.

Situated in the heart of Leeds city centre, on the 12th floor of the new Hyatt hotel, the vibrant, Latin-American-inspired venue has surpassed expectations since its March opening, quickly establishing itself as the city’s go-to rooftop destination for cocktails, food, and summer socialising.

Now, following its successful launch and continued high demand from guests, Azotea is expanding its team, offering a variety of roles for talented individuals who are passionate about hospitality, drinks, and delivering exceptional service.

The following roles are currently available:

  • Head mixologist
  • Mixologst
  • Chef de partie
  • Prep chef
  • Consultant senior chef
  • Experienced food and beverage assistants

Gabor Kocsi, general manager, commented: “The success Azotea has seen since opening has truly exceeded even our highest expectations. From day one, we’ve been blown away by the incredible support from the local community. It’s been wonderful to see people embracing what we’re all about: distinctive cocktails, fantastic food, and an atmosphere full of energy and warmth.

“As we continue to grow, especially during what is an important time for the food and drink industry, this is an exciting opportunity for professionals who are looking to be part of something special. We’re offering the chance to join the team and work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting where creativity and passion are genuinely valued.

“Leeds has such a rich pool of hospitality talent, and I’m genuinely looking forward to meeting new faces, hearing their stories, and welcoming them into our Azotea family. We’ve already built a fantastic team, and I can’t wait for it to become even stronger.”
