A Yorkshire-based business on a mission to help the nation sleep its best sleep has secured a John Lewis listing, just a year after launching. Floks’ range of luxuriously soft and lofty pillows and duvets is now available to buy at John Lewis, continuing the brand’s ambition to breathe new life into bedding.

Floks has spent its first year building a brand intent on enabling a supremely comfortable and restorative sleep, which doesn’t cost the earth. British Traceable wool and organic cotton are used in every product and the entire collection is designed and made in the UK, making it the only wool bedding brand of its quality on the market today.

“We are passionate about the benefits of wool and are so excited to be announcing this partnership with John Lewis as we continue to fuel the wool bedding revolution,” explains Sophie Platts, founder of Floks.

“We are dedicated to a sustainable business and using the best raw materials to create luxurious products for a high quality sleep - all of which are designed and made right here in Yorkshire. We are fanatical about the details; from the way our wool is carded for a soft and lofty feel right through to unique design details which make life easier, such as hand pockets on the corners of our duvets for bed-making which is a breeze.

“Wool creates the perfect, natural climate for your bed all year round, for the most restorative and regenerative sleep possible. The thermoregulating properties of wool keep your body temperature perfectly balanced, whether that is insulating you against the cold or releasing heat and humidity to cool you down. It’s essentially nature’s air conditioning! We want everyone to understand the benefits of sleeping with wool and this endorsement by John Lewis will help us spread that message.”
