...but he’s not his usual busy self. He’s sleeping!

With 99 sleeps until Christmas and not an elf in sight, residents across the city were surprised to see Santa resting by the city’s landmarks wearing a sign saying ‘Wake me up on September 24th’.

Santa’s early wake-up call comes as the Sony Movies Christmas pop-up TV channel launches on September 24th with new Yuletide premieres and indulgent festive TV movie treats to get everyone in the holiday spirit from September to January.

So spread the word - Santa and Sony Movies Christmas are getting ready to wake up in LEEDS and spread some festive cheer.

Wake up to Sony Movies Christmas channel on Thursday 24th September

The channel is available all day, every day on Freeview 50, Sky 319, Virgin 424 and Freesat 303.

Ho ho ho!
