A Bradford therapist is offering free stress relief treatments for key workers who are feeling the pressure, while they’re providing frontline services during the Coronavirus crisis.

Barjees Qayum, of Nirvana Therapies, is inviting stressed healthcare staff and other workers still out in the field doing vital jobs, to contact her for a relaxing mind mediation session.

Barjees is a qualified hypnotherapist and mind mediation practitioner and uses a combination of therapies to support people with a range of issues. Although her clinic, at Streamline Gym in Wibsey, has had to close, she is able to perform the voice-based therapy remotely from home, either online or over the phone.

She said: “There are so many wonderful people out there on the frontline, keeping things going for the rest of us, from healthcare workers and care workers, to supermarket staff and many others, who are all under a lot of pressure for a variety of reasons. I’d like to do my bit to help them release some of that tension and, basically, support them to get through some very difficult weeks ahead.”

“Our mind mediation therapies can help to relieve stress and the good thing is that they can be effectively carried out by video online or over the phone. This is because the important elements are voice techniques and wording, used to speak to the unconscious mind and help people change the way they are thinking and feeling.

“Just let us know on booking a time slot, which method of communication works best for you.”

For more information, or to make an appointment, call 07397 970039 or message Facebook @Nirvana Therapies, with brief details of the frontline job you are doing and the pressures you may currently be under.
