The Brand Power Manifesto: shortlisted for The Business Book Awards 2025

Buttercrumble is delighted to announce that their book, The Brand Power Manifesto, has been shortlisted for The Business Book Awards 2025, an event that celebrates excellence in business publishing and recognises authors who are making an impact with their insight, innovation, and influence.

The 2025 shortlist was officially revealed during an evening celebration held at Pearson’s prestigious head office in London, bringing together industry leaders, publishers, and authors to honour outstanding contributions to business literature. The Brand Power Manifesto, published by BIS Publishing, has been honoured as a finalist in the Sales and Marketing category at the Business Book Awards. This recognition underscores the book’s dedication to supporting both female‑founded and emerging businesses in developing their confidence and unique brand identities. Inspired by the authors’ own experiences with their brand, Buttercrumble, the book aims to empower anyone to build a business that suits them! The Brand Power Manifesto challenges the notion that business advice is only for high-flying ‘unicorn’ entrepreneurs. In an age of fake social media lives and AI hype, the authors share a down-to-earth reality to business, encouraging confidence and authenticity. As young women who have faced underestimation, they know that branding is a powerful tool for those looking to stand out in a competitive marketplace.

Jacq Burns, head judge of The Business Book Awards, commented: “This year’s shortlist showcases a diverse range of powerful ideas and practical tools for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. Congratulations to this year’s finalists. I look forward to celebrating with you all in September.”
