Victoria Leeds will be hosting its ‘Boost Wellness Day’ on Wednesday 18th October.

With help from its many wellness-boosting brands, Victoria Leeds will offer a free Autumn yoga class, cuddles with puppies, and a specialist panel event offering menopause advice, alongside complimentary massages, and sampling across Victoria Leeds’ wellness brands, including Bird & Blend tea, NEOM, Kiehls and Molton Brown.

The Cuddle Club brings puppies to Victoria Leeds
Proven to reduce stress and boost happy hormones, the team of superhero canines will be on hand for all to enjoy a good cuddle, bringing down your cortisol levels and boosting that love hormone, oxytocin between 11-3pm on the main central area of Victoria Quarter.

Move into Autumn with Sweaty Betty and Yoga Kula
The feel-good activities don’t stop there, Yoga Kula will be on hand with a free Autumn Flow yoga class - a Vinyasa-inspired session with moments for tranquillity and stillness - to get your body moving and your mind calm. This cosy flow, surrounded by candles and incense, invites your body to relax, and renew its energy stores, as we move into the darker months. The class takes place at 1.45pm – 2.30pm above the Sweaty Betty store and includes a guided shopping experience around the boutique downstairs.

Master the Menopause
A quarter of those going through the menopause will experience debilitating symptoms. From anxiety and hot flushes to insomnia, menopause and its 48 recognised symptoms have long been taboo - a taboo that sufferers weather, often for years, with neither support nor understanding. As part of the Wellness Day and to raise awareness on World Menopause Day, Victoria Leeds have teamed up with Yorkshire Businesswoman members LIVVE and an army of experts to impart their knowledge in a menopause panel event. Offering bountiful advice on feeling your best through this time, from HRT to exercise advice, hair and diet advice, alternative treatments, fashion and guidance on how to get the best night’s sleep from John Lewis’ Home Design Team. The panel of women, specialists in their field, aim to raise the profile of menopause and its effects on mental and physical health. There will also be the opportunity to ask specific questions, helping you to “Rule your Menopause”.

The panel talks will take place outside John Lewis in Victoria Gate at 12.30pm, 2pm and 3.30pm.

On the Day Offers
The wonderful selection of Victoria Leeds lifestyle and wellness brands will all be joining in on the celebrations too, with plenty of pop-ups, tasters, and on-the-day offers available. New store, Bird & Blend Tea Co, will be sampling a variety of drinks from their new menu, NEOM and Molton Brown will be offering complimentary hand and arm massages instore throughout the day and skin care specialists Kiehl’s will also be on hand with bookable facials on the day.

Jo Coburn, senior general manager at Victoria Leeds, said: “We’re so excited to bring back our focus on autumn wellness. As we move into the darker, colder months of the year, it’s more important than ever to prioritise self-care. This event is rooted in finding the feel-good in every day, designed to offer plenty of mood-boosting activities and expert advice - as well as working to demystify the taboos around menopause. We’re so looking forward to seeing all that positive energy, and helping people feel well for winter.”
