Victoria Leeds will play host to its first big Leeds Fashion Weekender 8th, 9th and 10th September.

The Leeds Fashion Weekender will be hosted by Sunday Times best-selling author and renowned style influencer, Kat Farmer, featuring catwalk shows, expert styling advice, new season collections, event exclusives, and more.

Victoria Leeds
Combining the historic grandeur of the Victoria Quarter’s arcades with the awe-inspiring modernity of Victoria Gate, Victoria Leeds is the shopping destination for discerning customers from across the North.

Five big brands have recently moved in, including Phase Eight, Ace & Tate and Whistles, to add to the roster of fashion-forward names Victoria Leeds houses. Department stores Harvey Nichols and John Lewis host some of the UK’s best brands, and these stores sit alongside some of the UK’s most exclusive fashion names, from All Saints, Ralph Lauren and Russell & Bromley to Coach, Boodles, Paul Smith and Cubitts.

Fashion Weekender line-up
Victoria Gate’s stunning central events space will play host to four catwalk shows per day across all three days of the Fashion Weekender, featuring new season looks in both menswear and womenswear from Victoria Leeds’ brands.

Kat Farmer will walk the audience through each runway and her ‘Fashion Tribes Theory’, making it easy for shoppers to find their fit and to shop the look. Models will wear outfits tailored by featured brands, each one fitting into one of Kat Farmer’s nine signature style tribes.

Complement the fashion fun with a bite to eat at one of the Victoria Leeds exclusive dining destinations such as Issho, Harvey Nichols Brasserie, or The Ivy Asia, or enjoy a glass of bubbles at the Champagne Bar (hosted by The Cut & Craft on Friday, The Ivy on Saturday and The Ivy Asia on Sunday).

After taking in all her sartorial tips, meet the style icon herself as Kat Farmer hosts a daily book signing for audience members, each day at 1.15pm in Victoria Quarter. Book copies can be purchased on the day, but early arrival is advised as copies are limited.

Jo Coburn, Victoria Leeds’ Senior General Manager, said: “We’re so excited for the upcoming Fashion Weekender event. It’s great to be showcasing so many of our sensational brands, ahead of the new fashion season and it’s brilliant to be working with our new retailers, too. We’re big Kat Farmer fans - she really shows people how to dress for themselves, rather than for fleeting trends - so it’ll be great to hear her advice going into AW23 and beyond. The audience is in for a treat, going by all the plans we’ve already got in place - it should be a weekend full of really relatable, fashion-forward fun!"
