In 2020, YSP presents an exhibition programme dominated by important female artists, including our headline exhibition by acclaimed Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos in the Underground Gallery.

Celebrate International Women’s Day at YSP with this exciting opportunity to explore the work of some of the remarkable female sculptors in the open-air collection.

Join YSP Curator Sarah Coulson to discover the story of YSP’s longest loan, The Family of Man by Barbara Hepworth, that has been at the Park for 35 years. Continue the tour into the Formal Gardens to see more recent additions, including significant works by Huma Bhabha, Leiko Ikemura and Hilary Jack.

This fascinating survey ends in the gallery gardens with an introduction to Joana Vasconcelos’s extraordinary and vibrant outdoor sculptures, before enjoying a luxury afternoon tea, including a wide selection of treats, hot drinks and a mimosa on arrival.
