After a hugely successful career - The voice of Yorkshire, multi National and international award winning radio presenter, journalist and Yorkshire Businesswoman ambassador Liz Green has left the BBC after years at the top in BBC Local and Regional radio.

Liz was the first woman to present a local radio breakfast show solo in 2012. She has taken over the National Breakfast Show at http://True2radio.co.uk and opens her first boutique - Caché La boutique in Elland, West Yorkshire in May.

"Women do have stuff to do - and our age is no barrier," says Liz. Her radio career is prolific, famed for holding many to account both on air and off, she steered her audience through the pandemic - broadcasting from her kitchen - and all the major changes to our lives over 30 years. Twice named Yorkshire Personality of The Year and multiple national broadcasting awards Liz Green’s documentaries have taken her to Auschwitz, Death Row in Florida and the legal brothels of Nevada. That work was recognised in the UK and twice at the New York International Radio Festival. You will be able to catch Liz later this year on the Yorkshire Businesswoman podcast.

Her skill as an event host saw her front the annual Sue Ryder Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards, narrating huge choral concerts concerts at The Sage, Gateshead and with the orchestra of Opera North in Leeds. Awards and corporate events as well as celebrity and author theatre events. Liz also hosted a debate at the Sorbonne in Paris.

Her love of connecting with people led to an ‘irresistible ’ offer from The True Radio Group, where Liz is looking forward to waking up the nation with fabulous music and random dancing.

Liz’s love of fashion and style will be at the heart of Caché La Boutique.
Women - and our lives at all stages - we deserve great clothing at reasonable prices. As our bodies adapt to motherhood, menopause, ageing - we deserve to look amazing. You may have Caché - you certainly deserve it.

Inspired by French style, this Boutique will welcome you. Liz will be the well dressed one behind the radio mic.
