First look inside Domo Leeds as Sardinian restaurant opens its doors

Award-winning Sardinian restaurant Domo has officially opened its first Leeds venue, welcoming its first customers to the landmark Tower Works development on the city’s South Bank.
The highly anticipated restaurant opened on Friday, June 5, bringing its signature blend of authentic Sardinian cuisine, aperitivo culture and warm hospitality to Leeds for the first time.
Guests can now experience Domo’s vibrant canal-side setting, complete with a striking central bar, open kitchen and interiors inspired by the founders’ Sardinian heritage. The restaurant serves a menu of traditional dishes made entirely in-house, alongside carefully selected Sardinian wines, beers and cocktails.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Sarah Elliott-Busceddu and Raffaele Busceddu, Domo has earned a loyal following since launching in Sheffield in 2019 and is expected to become one of Leeds' most exciting new dining destinations.
Sarah said: “Our opening weekend exceeded all expectations and the response from Leeds has been absolutely incredible. We’ve been delighted to see bookings flying in and to welcome so many people through the doors to experience Domo for the very first time.
“I’m immensely proud of our entire team, who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes and pulled out all the stops to prepare for launch. Opening a new restaurant is always a huge undertaking and their passion, dedication and attention to detail have made this possible.
“We’d also like to say a huge thank you to everyone in Leeds for the warm welcome we've received. From local residents and businesses to our very first guests, the support has been overwhelming. We’re excited to become part of this fantastic city and look forward to welcoming many more people to Domo in the months ahead.”
Domo Leeds is now open at Tower Works, offering all-day dining, weekday lunch menus, takeaway options and after-work aperitivo specials with selected drinks priced at £7 during the week.
