The Ten Commandments of Entrepreneurship
With Connect Yorkshire EIR Jonathan Straight.

Yorkshire-based entrepreneur Jonathan Straight is best known as the founder of Straight plc, the UK’s leading supplier of waste and recycling containers and a pioneering purpose-driven business. Jonathan grew the business from a one-man-band to a stock market listing in just ten years, He also transformed the model from selling third part products as a distributor, into an environmentally-conscious manufacturing concern with its own factory. In the almost six years since exiting, he has been involved in several start-ups, including one of his own - The Lupin Company – as well as being Brand Ambassador for on-line food redistribution business, Approved Food. He also holds a portfolio of positions with charities and NGOs and is an enterprise ambassador at the University of Leeds Business School.

His Ten Commandments are universal themes for entrepreneurs, or anyone else wanting to be successful. Jonathan is a frequent speaker about entrepreneurship. A book of his memoirs and thoughts is due later in 2020.
