I am excited to announce that the second edition of Yorkshire Businesswoman launches this weekend and once again the response has been phenominal. Our cover features Dame Linda Pollard who is chair of the NHS Trust in Leeds, this is a must read article as Linda has had a career that will inspire everyone.

As well as Linda, we once again feature a number of talented and inspirational women from our region, along with fashion, beauty and hot tips. Two new features launch too, 'What's in your handbag' and 'What's in your make-up bag'. Author Milly Johnson shares with us the contents of her handbag, her must haves when she's out and about and television presenter and actress Natalie Anderson shares with us he must have beauty items.

Despite the pandemic, we still have lots of new projects that we will be launching and sharing with our readers this year. We are in the final planning stages, so do make sure you keep checking back for more details.

Don't forget, inbetween each edition you can always stay ahead of the Yorkshire businesswoman news from our website or download the TopicUK app, our sister publication, from the App Store or Google Play which also features the Yorkshire Businesswomen news.

Yorkshire Businesswoman is a platform for women to come together, share ideas, share with us their business journeys, how they have succeeded or overcome difficulties and talk to other women business leaders. Do get in touch and share your stories and experiences with us.

We have just received a new batch of branded face masks, our best ones yet. I hate having to wear them, but do so because it's important. Fortunately our new ones have adjustable strings that don't pull on ears and are shaped offering good breathing space, the material is soft and they are of course fully washable. They are the best we have tried and now they are available to our readers at just £6 each.

Do send us your comments and let us know what you would like us to feature and we'll do our best to make it happen.

Until next time
Gill
