Self-taught Bradford artist announced as Leeds Playhouse's new resident designer
Set designer and miniature model-maker Warda Abbasi has been announced as the
new resident designer at Leeds Playhouse. This is a year-long role in
partnership with Leeds-based theatre company tutti frutti, supported by the
Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme.
After completing a degree in mathematics, Bradford-based Warda worked in the
Magpie appoints new MD and creative and behavioural science change makers
Yorkshire’s award winning creative behaviour change agency, Magpie, has
appointed Kim Somerville as managing director to take forward an ambitious plan
to make more positive social change and be the leading champions of unheard
voices.
