This December, Santa and his elves have taken up residence at Leeds-based family attraction, Lotherton, bringing the magic of Christmas to Yorkshire after months of uncertainty.

From now until 3 January 2021, The Christmas Experience will return for its fifth fantastic year, with a sprinkle of extra magic making it perfect for socially distanced festive fun for all the family.

With Lotherton located in tier three in England’s tiering system, Santa’s elves have been busy tweaking the tinsel and sanitising the sleigh to ensure all guidelines are adhered to and families can visit with confidence and Christmas cheer.

In a year that’s been more glum than fun, visitors young and old will get all the festive feels as they embark on a Christmas adventure filled with magic and wonder, exploring the grounds of the popular House.

Seasonal favourites including the Twelve Days of Christmas Woodland Walk and the Enchanted Fairy Dell return, with a different look and feel, including one-way adventure paths to follow, sanitising stations along the way and social distancing guidelines in place.

Although the House is closed due to tier 3 restrictions, visitors can peek through the windows to see the former family home dressed in all its festive finery. From the gardens, the changing light show creates the illusion of a picture-perfect, traditional dolls house on an impressive scale and is not to be missed.

The Christmas Experience is run by Lotherton and Breeze. Tickets are available now and are strictly pre-booking only as spaces are limited and a time-slotted system is in operation.

Strict hygiene and social distancing measures are in place to ensure Lotherton is COVID secure. Full Covid safety measures can be found on the website.
