Editor tries revolutionary skin treatment

Editor tries revolutionary skin treatment

None of us are getting any younger and if you’re like me, I yearn for the days of my youth when I didn’t have to worry about wrinkle lines, dark spots or a saggy jaw. That said, I am grateful to have got to the age that I have and know that I have earned every line and wrinkle.

When I was growing up, there wasn’t the huge range of products to choose from that there are now, I think we can all be baffled at what is on the market. My mother believed nothing beat soap and water and as my skin was flawless, said I didn’t need fancy creams. She also, dare I say it, encouraged me and my sisters to use Olive Oil and sunbathe, so we would have a healthy glow, the horror of it when I think of that now! This resulted I’m sure in the few dark spots I have on my skin now.

Fast forward to today and thankfully I am better educated when it comes to skincare and do have a regular routine with favourite products, but I am always on the hunt for new products and can’t resist trying them out. I have drawers full of both expensive and inexpensive products!

Recently, one of our Yorkshire Businesswoman members, Michelle Clarke and were talking and Michelle mentioned that I would benefit from BioRePeel a treatment she offers at her clinics and Wakefield and Harrogate. As you can imagine, I jumped at the chance to give this a go, particularly as she assured me it was non-evasive.

BioRePeel is a revolutionary skin treatment that provides a gentle, yet effective skin renewal. It helps to improve skin tone, texture and elasticity while stimulating collagen production, leaving skin looking radiant and youthful. The treatment uses a unique formula to exfoliate and refresh the skin without causing irritation, pain or downtime. The treatment is suitable for all skin types and can be used to target a variety of skin concerns including fine lines, pigmentation and dull skin, restoring back to a glowing complexion.

Michelle told me that regular treatments will help maintain a smoother and more even-toned skin with long lasting results. I was sold and she booked me in for a course of four treatments, spaced 2 weeks apart.

Michelle’s clinic in Wakefield is very welcoming with all the high-tech equipment you would expect, whilst still being warm and friendly.

I didn’t know what to expect on my first visit, but Michelle explained everything and put me at ease. The first treatment was gentle, using a peel she told me I could expect slight peeling for a few days afterwards, but nothing too drastic and I was able to wear makeup the following day. Michelle stressed the importance of hydration afterwards which is important.

My second visit was the same except now knowing what my skin could handle, the peel administered was a little stronger. The same was for visit three, all two weeks apart. I did have some peeling but what was more obvious was how fresh my skin looked. The results really are instant.

I have my fourth and final visit this week when I will have a luxury treatment, something I am looking forward to. The images are during the treatment, but I will post after the final treatment showing my already glowing skin that has already seen a significant reduction in fine lines.

The images are two weeks apart and you can see the difference on the second image (below) in the reduction of fine lines around the eyes.

Is it me or is booking a train confusing?

Now that I have moved house, I will be a regular user of trains to get me back to Leeds for the many events we hold for Yorkshire Businesswoman and TopicUK. But, I have yet to get my head around the whole booking system! I wanted to reserve a train to get me from Cheshire to Leeds, simple, well you would think so! I have to change trains in Manchester but I don't think Trainline / Transpennine could make it more complicated if they tried! I have studied the many e-tickets they have sent me v
